Flexible prestressing moulds for 900 concrete beams at Max Bögl

Max Bögl Hamminkeln is currently working with impressive 35-metre and 48-metre beam moulds supplied by Hendriks. These moulds play an important role in the production of more than 900 concrete beams needed for a temporary motorway in Belgium. This temporary road will make it possible to replace the old motorway without stopping traffic. Max Bögl produces beams in various lengths, widths and heights. To support this flexibility, several moulds and associated Prestressing beds (1400T, 1600T and 1800T) have been developed. These Prestressing beds, which are located at the ends of the moulds, ensure that strands are tensioned. After the concrete has hardened, these prestressing forces ensure that the beams can carry heavy loads over large spans. The big advantage of our solution is the variable mould. This allows the customer to produce different types of beams per day or week, each with specific characteristics such as dimensions, prestressing and number of strands. At Hendriks Precon, we specialise in developing customer-specific solutions for prestressing moulds.

Every project presents unique challenges, and our team consistently succeeds in delivering the optimal solution. We are proud of our contribution to this large-scale infrastructure project.
