To continue to guarantee and improve this, Hendriks Steel Solutions is currently taking a major step towards the digitalisation of sheet metal working. By implementing LVD’s Cadman Suite, we are integrating quotations, work planning and production into a single digital workflow.
This provides a clearer overview of the production process, more efficient planning and a reliable supply of sheet metal. At the same time, the smart software ensures more efficient use of materials and less waste, which contributes to a more sustainable production process.
From design to production in a single digital workflow
In the work planning department, drawings are checked and prepared using Cadman SDI. This involves immediately assessing the manufacturability of components for Laser cutting and sheet metal forming. Any necessary adjustments can be made quickly before production begins.
When an order is released, the ERP system automatically sends it to Cadman Job. Here, orders are intelligently combined and automatically nested for Laser cutting. By processing several orders at the same time, material is used to its full potential and production remains efficient.
Real-time insight into the workplace
During production, our staff use Touch-i4 and iTouch terminals to monitor machines and orders in real time. When bending, an order is initiated via a QR code, which means that progress is recorded immediately in the ERP system.
This means that the status of an order within the production process is always visible, allowing for swift adjustments to be made when necessary.
