The ACE project in Amsterdam involves the construction of 565 homes. For the structural work, van Muijen Concrete Construction Tunnel formwork from the 3rd to the 21st floor. Thanks to the use of two 21.6-metre-long tunnels, the building is rising at breakneck speed, with five concrete pours per floor.
The unique balcony design on the tunnel’s exit side calls for a well-thought-out approach. Right from the engineering phase, the Tunnel formwork, slipform scaffolding and safety measures have been carefully coordinated. This is reflected in the scaffolding structure and the sequence of works on site.
