Tunnel works get off to a successful start at the Victoriatoren in Eindhoven

For the construction of the Victoriatoren, a landmark project near the stadium in Eindhoven, Stam + de Koning is using Tunnel formwork from the 2nd to the 29th floor. With two tunnels measuring 25.2 metres in length and 6 metres in width, five concrete pours are carried out per floor. This method ensures a high construction speed and predictable, efficient progress of the structural work.

The tunnel works are currently in the start-up phase. The first two storeys have now been cast and the formwork removed. The End facade scaffold has been erected on the completed section, and cantilever scaffolding has been installed at the front. These measures ensure safe construction, facilitate the movement of the tunnel sections, and enable the structural work to progress smoothly.

A great start to the tunnel work; we look forward to the next stages of this project.
