Tunnel formwork
These two unique buildings are part of the extensive Overhoeks development in Amsterdam. By becoming involved in the construction project at an early stage, Hendriks and Red Bouw ensured that all the bays could be constructed using tunnel formwork. The spectacular use of tunnel formwork and the jointly developed option of using conical centring have resulted in major benefits for the client (Dura Vermeer) in terms of quality, crane deployment and construction speed.
