Bridge building in Suriname reaches new heights

OT-mal met 2500 tons spanbank voor bruggenbouw bij The Kuldipsingh Group in Suriname, geschikt voor prefab liggers tot 60 meter overspanning

The Kuldipsingh Group's investment in an OT mould (inverted "T") with prestressing bed will take bridge construction in Suriname to a new level. With an impressive capacity of 2,500 tonnes, this is the heaviest prestressing bed for the longest girders in South America. The prestressing bed can accommodate girders with a span of up to 60 metres, pushing the boundaries of traditional bridge design.

Together with the universal mounting position for different types of moulds, including box beams, H-beams and I-beams, a wide range of designs can be realised. This opens the door to new possibilities and stimulates the growth of Surinamese infrastructure.
